Cardinals Win. Seyego Lends a Hand.

Data EntrySunday night, the Arizona Cardinals pulled out a highly improbable, if not impossible, victory when Oakland’s veteran kicker, Sebastian Janikowski pushed a 32 yard chip-shot field goal wide left. The Cardinals, who improved to 2-1, suffered a devastating loss in the victory when top fan and Seyego Data Entry Specialist, Katie, re-injured her right hand during a post-game celebration.

Sources say that Katie clapped and hi-fived too vigorously after the missed field goal, which led to visible bruising and pain. She checked herself into urgent care early Monday afternoon for tests, but there has been no word as to her condition.

Katie broke the same hand back in July when she was assaulted by her cat, Spooky, and spent the off-season rehabilitating the hand and running light clapping drills. Doctors gave Katie the ok to start rooting for the Cardinals after week 2’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

“With the poor showing against the Rams and the blow-out by Atlanta, we didn’t expect the Cardinals to win another game. Our bad,” said Doctor Bruce Ward of Fairweather Orthopedic Clinic in Phoenix.

“Katie is a huge part of what we do here at Seyego,” said a co-worker “Losing Katie at this point in the season is rough. We’re just hoping for the best.”

Katie, who is scheduled to root for the Cardinals again next weekend, could not be reached for comment.

UPDATE: MRI came back negative. After a few days of bed rest, the bruising and swelling subsided, and Katie has returned to her usual form; rooting for her league leading AZ Cardinals. Glad to have you back, Katie.
